Tool stop with Stack Overflow error when beginning to generate migration report from msi package #12

Description

The tool displays an error and stops with stack overflow message while loading HTML template from resource file.
The error displayed is:

Environment and tool versions

  • AIM Tool Version (aim --version): 0.5.1-beta.2020102844785
  • Windows Version (systeminfo): Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (10.0.18363 N/A Build 18363)
  • Shell: PowerShell
  • Shell Version ($PSVersionTable | bash --version): 5.1.18362.1171

Expected result

Tool successfully processes the MSI with no errors.

Current result

The tool stops and outputs an error.

Hooajaberi - It would be very helpful if we can get a copy of the msi file you are attempting to import. We suspect this issue is related to something specific in your msi file but we are unable to determine what that would be. If you do not wish to attach your msi file to this issue, please e-mail me - Valerie.Robb at microsoft.com and we can figure out a way for me to get the msi file privately. Please note, the msi file will not make it past our e-mail filters so please do not attach it to any e-mail you may send to me.

msi file received - we are now analyzing what the issue is in order to identify the root cause.
