[Bug] Game doesn't render non-ASCII character on 3.11.1

Describe the bug
On the latest version the game can't render non-ascii characters with the default Minecraft font

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Set Default Font Behavior to "Keep All"
2. Type any non-ASCII character (ñ, é, ú) in the chat or switch the game to a language that uses non-ascii characters.
3. Look at the text and notice a blank space where a character should be.

Expected behavior
The game should be able to render non-ascii characters
