Generating power and energy stats

Hello!
I can see that enabling the 'record-cmd-trace' parameter generates trace files that can be fed into DRAMPower. However, DRAMPower also requires the memspec. How can I generate the memspec for HMC? I was considering using DRAMSpec for this purpose. Am I on the right track? If not, how were the energy numbers presented in the DAMOV paper generated? Any help would be appreciated!
