Ubuntu 24.04 x86_64, fastfetch doesn't seem to be displaying quite right #65

Hey there all! I wanted to try this out before installing on my popos machine, so I spun up a ubuntu 24.04 vm, and in it after installing nerdfonts, it looks like some icons still don't show up quite right? See screenshot for what I see.

Steps used to install Nerdfonts:

  1. git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/ryanoasis/nerd-fonts.git
  2. cd nerd-fonts
  3. ./install.sh

Then a lot of the missing symbols popped in. Not sure if there's something else I'm missing?

Try changing the default font of your terminal (Hamburger menu > Preference > Profile > Text > Custom font) to one of the Nerd fonts. That should fix the icons issue.
