Welcome to the SkyeTracker wiki!

Solar Tracking System using Astronomical Equations. Astronomical equations find the sun locations relative to the tracker in any chosen location on earth.

This project is is based on a arduino nano, it uses a pair of linear actuators to move a set of solar panel so that they face the sun throughout the day. The system is setup and calibrated using an android app that communicates with the device using the bluetooth interface.

The circuit includes a LM2596-12 buck regulator to supply a steady 12v to a L298 dual Full H Bridge Motor Controller. The unit is intended to be used with a 24V solar system. Support for an anemometer is included to detect high winds speeds that will move the array to a horizontal position to avoid wind damage.
