Great paper, but I have some questions.

  1. Is it necessary to learn physical properties from dynamic scenes? Why can't we just assume the force between anchors? Or just apply gravity?
  2. Have u try other complex scene? For example, tank and temples datasets.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the questions,

  1. I think learning physical properties is significant to reduce domain gap for sim-to-real.
  2. I haven't tried this method on complex data yet, and I think it will be an extremely hard task in complex scene.

Dear authors,

I want to ask the same question: how to just assume the force between anchors and simulate the object without learning physical properties from dynamic scenes?

Plus, how to simulate a complete rigid object by your simulator?
