Having explored careers as a camera assistant in film & television, and as a specialty coffee roaster/ barista. Jessica made the decision to retrain in 2017 and add programming to her skill set. She joined the team at Ecosia in 2018 to use her new skills to help plant trees globally.
A self taught/ community taught developer she organises events to support others in making the move into tech. She has been co-organising PyLadies Berlin since 2018. When not at her computer she is reading, experimenting in the kitchen or doing photography.
