Ender Dragon Keeps Permanently Gaining Health

Describe the bug

The Ender Dragon Which was at 1700 hp when it spawned is now at 69,000 hp after a few hours.
This is after someone did something to delete the previous dragon which had reached 1,000,000 hp overnight.

Steps to reproduce

1. spawn Champion ender dragon on server
2. try to kill it (unsuccessfully) for a while
3. leave and return a few hours later more prepared
4. Find dragon now has tens of thousands of health more than it had earlier

Expected behaviour

Health does not increase

Additional note the Dragon has since reach 1,000,000 hp again

I have a similar issue, playing FTB infinity evolved and I got a common ender dragon as my first one. Whenever I leave the end and come back then hit the dragon its health multiplies by some factor.

Is this still an issue for you on the latest version of the modpack? I've not been able to reproduce this on 1.7.0
