Describe the bug

In 1.6.0 and prior you could place chests next to input and output sides of a sag mill and it would automatically input and output. Very handy. It no longer works the same. It works with item pipes, but who wants pipes cluttering when you don't need them?

Steps to reproduce

Place and power sag mill. Place chest on left of sag mill and another on right side of sag mill. Configure sag mill to input from the left and output to the right. Since last update won't input or output.

Expected behaviour

Expect to input materials and output materials when configured to do so.
