Since edits have been approved for Batch 1 content ( #328 ), we are ready to implement on the website.

Steps:

  • Under the main nav "About", create two menu options, "Why OpenACR" and "About this initiative"
  • "Why OpenACR" content is on this page
  • "About this initiative" content is on this page

The rest of the current menu options under "About" should be unpublished. Most of the content has been captured in the re-writing of the two pages above. The rest will be re-written and re-published in the next content batch.

@mgifford This should be put in TO-DO and assigned to someone who knows how to make edits to the website

Note to whomever is doing this work:

Some of the sections may look familiar to what is already on the website. Please copy the text directly from the documents (even if it doesn't seem the paragraph or section has changed much.) I corrected a number of typos and small grammatical errors, so we want to make sure those edits are incorporated. Thanks!

@melindaburgess Do the pages exist now? What URLs should they have?

@mgifford Please see the original ticket description, which explains the steps needed and links to the documents that have the page content.

Desired URLs are at the top of the page documents, but you can also refer to the Mural as a SSOT for the planned pages and URLs
