no longer builds under 14.04

So I am struggling super hard to getthis running under 14.04. Currently I am trying to build and install it manually, but I am pretty far out of my league. Biggest issue so far is libopencascade-dev is no longer in the repos, so I am trying to get by with liboce-ocaf-dev. I will continue to button mash diligently until I succeed or you fix the scripts and all the magick that is done here.

I haven't tried to build for a long time but when I did, I would use liboce. BTW, this git version is largely abandoned. It was a git mirror of the original SVN repo but hasn't been kept current. Dan Heeks has contined to work on his SVN fork and you might have more luck with that. I have not been able to build it yet. https://sites.google.com/site/heekscad/news/linuxversion

ok thank you for the info, it is all very vague on the web as to what is current etc. No chance of the latest changes getting pushed to this repo? I have never used SVN. I can learn if I have to, but all I need is one more program to configure this week.

Try this:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:neomilium/heekscnc-devel
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install heekscnc
