The heat map is not refreshed on window resize.

When you change the browser window, the heat map at /map.html stay unchanged. No problem when the window gets smaller, but that does not work when the window gets larger: The heat map just appears at the original window size.

The map should listen to window resize events and get drawn anew (or pull out from cache) accordingly.
