Hey Tanner!

I noticed this pop into the Github and I'll definitely keep an eye on it. One of the shortcomings of the previous MODBUS custom device was that it lacked the ability to enable/disable outgoing MODBUS messages. I contributed that feature back to the project, but my implementation was definitely a hack. It would be awesome if you could keep this use case in mind while this one's in development to make it fit our needs too.

What do you mean exactly? Why would you want to disable them? Are you talking about disabling all writes based on the value of another channel?
