Well, that's definitely why it's not typing correctly. Fortunately it's a really simple issue to patch out.

Thank you for finding the main cause. I'll get that patched and submit a pull request.

This is fixed in v1.4.5c. Once the pull request goes through, it should be made available to everyone.

As of having the PR accepted yesterday, this should be addressed now in the main repo.
