[Bug] Notification spam when updating repos

• This issue contains only one bug.

Describe the bug

When updating repo the notification for updating each repo is created and destroyed extremely quickly. This causes an explosion of notification sound both on the phone or connected device like a smart watch.

Expected Behavior

There should be a single notification created during the update process which can be swiped away after the process completes.
