We’ve based lessons on the ones proposed by KTouch back in those days because I thought it would be a good idea to share lessons between projects.

This approach might be okay but I think it’s sub-par, especially for beginners. And it’s complex to maintain because lessons depend on both the language and keyboard layout, which makes it unsuitable for alternative or multilingual layouts.

Possible ideas :

  • keyboard-based, keyzen-like lessons to learn key positions one by one ;
  • language-based, keybr-like lessons based on the most frequent digrams, trigrams and words.
