Dear @OpenFoam-User, NREL has not provided precompiled Windows executables of OpenFAST in both single and double precision. Single precision is typically fine for engineering use given that the internal variables needing double precision are stored as doubles even when compiling in single precision. If you want to compile fully in double precision, you'll need to compile from the source. (In my opinion, compiling with Intel Fortran through Visual Studio is the simplest on Windows). Dear @jjonkman, Many thanks for your reply. So I have to compile OpenFAST myself in double precision.
I've downloaded OpenFAST single precision version from the current repository as I linked in my first post (which I suppose belongs to NREL). |

I should have said that NREL provides precompiled Windows executables of OpenFAST in single precision, but does not provide them for double precision.
