Replace GTA San Andreas Widescreen Patches #457
Comments
It also solves the problem of emergency vehicles not arriving?, both ambulances and firefighters. |
I honestly haven't checked, will give a look tomorrow |
I just checked, it still has the bug where ambulance and fire vehicles do not appear |
Yep, was just about to write. It'd be also cool if something could be done about the radiosity filter, currently it scales with resolution so there's a blurry mess around every object at anything other than native res. San Andreas loses a lot of its "PS2 charm" without the radiosity filter. |
im gonna close this in favour of #454 since apparently other gta games are effected |
It's not a duplicate, this issue concerns a different bug in that widescreen patch. |
I can't reproduce this error, can you share a clean save state in this area?, without any patch activated |
I don't have my PC atm, so I can't provide you with any save state. It shouldn't be hard to reproduce though, I just launched a new game, grabbed a decently fast car and went around the map on the highway. In those screenshots I was playing at 12x resolution with 16x AA, the only patch enabled was 16:9 Widescreen (the one shipped with PCSX2). Maybe it's easier to spot when flying: https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-Widescreen-Game-Patches?pid=620621#pid620621 |
The widescreen patches for GTA San Andreas currently shipped in PCSX2 have a problem.
When going fast in a vehicle, there will be garbage on both sides of the screen. These patches fix the issue: https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-Widescreen-Game-Patches?pid=621695#pid621695
