Changes made:

  • changed vacant_variable in model_structure.yaml to vacant_residential_units
  • additional fixes:
    • in lcm_utils.py, make sure columns in final_alts_df are unique
    • vacant variable in predict_X_df not to get standardized before generating housing units

run1259 review:

  • Overall, smoother population, households trend lines, less bumpy than run1256
    • e.g. Northville Twp(Wayne)
  • Better trend in Livingston, Monroe, Wayne than run1256, stable hh_size and age group changes
  • Worse in Rural Oakland like Lyon Twp, hh_size drops in rural cities
  • Similar trend in Washtenaw as run1256
  • Mixed in Macomb, seeing better pop and hh trend but worst hh_size changes in Ray Twp and others
