int2text or text2int #43
Comments
This will fall under the paraphrasing category for which we have decided to implement a new module as discussed in #34 |
Which functions? Please send the source. |
@someshsingh22, I don't think I have seen this in a research paper. However, I did see this somewhere in a medium article on data augmentation, which led me to think that this might be a good addition. I'll try and find that medium article again, I am sure they would've cited a source. |
There are already packages present for this https://github.com/akshaynagpal/w2n and https://github.com/savoirfairelinux/num2words @parantak |
So, should we not implement this? @rohts-patil |
We can implement this. But I think it is not wise to reinvent the wheel. Just expose a wrapper class and call the methods from the above packages. @parantak |
Assigning to @rohts-patil |
@rohts-patil we can even use the inflect package for this. For num2words. |
I believe implementing these self-explanatory functions could make for good perturbations. Though, I am not quite sure which category they'd go under. @rajaswa and @someshsingh22, thoughts?
I'll implement this in whichever section required
