Having some trouble getting the ps5 to connect to the internet with the vm gateway and the linked guide only goes to an isp's website.
Edit: When I try to download ffxiv_dx11.exe using curl -O ffxiv_dx11.exe http://<hfs-ip/ffxiv_dx11.exe it results in "file name has no length" and when I try to download the mitigation python code it doesn't work with just | python and forces me to use python 3, and even then it gives a value error: bad dos error but otherwise looks like it works

Hello, I had this same issue and was able to fix it. Make sure you setup HFS on your computer and upload the ffxiv_dx11.exe file to it. I found that when I used the first IP address the HFS window/terminal thing showed, it worked better. I also use -o instead of capital letter for the curl command.
