How do I change the look of the element I'm dragging?

When I drag from a table, the entire row is added to the event's innerText/innerHTML. I assume that's what Sortable is using as the "display" value?? What is the proper way to alter this?

If you are using native D&D:
It's not possible to change the style of the dragged object after the dragstart event. Have a look at the MDN article about the setDragImage() method. It states, that the method must be called in the dragstart event handler.

If you are using the fallback API:
That's very easy to be done: just add a class to the ghostElement and restyle it using css.
