apt install nvtop destroyed my nvidia drivers

Hi, I tried to install and accidentally removed my drivers in favor of a newer version (I had 535, I got 545). Which caused some real pain to get them back to work. Maybe it would be good that the driver is not updated when installing nvtop.

Same here, completely unexpected behaviour.

The reason why I rebuild nvtop on the target system (with d/control, Depends: tuned), so that does not happen. #51 (comment)

I suggest opening a ticket on the forum/bug tracker of the distribution that you are using.
I don't do the packaging of nvtop for distributions so I don't have a way to fix from my side.
