I'm running Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon. For some reason when I tap the "take a screenshot" button, it doesn't work, I get no error message, and the program flashes, and teleports to a specific spot on the screen every time.

I experience the same problem, also on Linux Mint. Can it be related to older screenshot tool installed there by default?

Seems like the problem comes from the Flatpak Portals system. I have a plan to rewrite it in the way a default GNOME Screenshot does it. But it will take some time.

Can confirm, this also happens to me, also on Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon.

@mimimix could you send the original image or example you've been trying to decode?

@amka Error with screenshot creation only.
Decoding a picture from a file works without problems.
UPD: If click "Paste image", then everything works
