I'm trying out the variable fonts plugin in Figma, and it works pretty well! However, there isn't any info about the selected font when viewing the object in the Inspect tab. Not just axes, but basics like font size and letter spacing are missing too.
Variable fonts have wide support in browsers and operating systems now, but it's going to be a tough sell for our teams to adopt them if we can't get any font info out of the Inspect tab. That piece is critical for our handoff to engineering!
I realize this plugin is implemented as vector objects at the moment, but is there any hope of having a more native representation of variable fonts within Figma which supports Inspect?
