I second this, especially with the Steam Deck coming up I think that remote play will become more populair.
Why linux? Because a lot of power users probably have some form of (Unraid) server running with a Plex docker container, as well as a linux environment with Steam on it. This way they can use a single GPU both for gaming, and encoding/decoding video content.
I'll consider it, but I don't currently have the significant amounts of free time that would be required for something like redesigning OSOL as a cross-platform launcher management tool.
It's very possible that someone else will create a tool for handling third-party launchers on the Steam Deck once it's out though. We'll have to wait and see.
Linux users are in desperate need of something like this.
I've tried to install with proton and WINE, but no luck.
What would it take to get this on Linux? Ubuntu or greater.
