Performance profiling

Im very interested in the benchmarks you did for developing the twitter clone on top of restify API. Is it possible to share those benchmarks ?.

As far as I can remember, we didn't come up with any usable comparisons between used techniques. Node.js is faster than typical LAMP stacks in regard of throughput but not so much if you consider more demanding calculations (Java wins then). You can refer to our another project and look for benchmark results: http://devcamps.pl/ (Polish only but translation should do the trick).

A year in Node's life is a lot of time, newest stable v0.8 is significantly faster than v0.6. I'll test that out if I manage to get more free time and finish the "Node.js vs vert.x" benchmarks.
