I am using the latest version of midnight commander. I added it to the environment variables after installation in the C:/Program Files folder. After starting PowerShell, everything works fine, but the F10 output from MC returns to the folder in which it was initialized, e.g.

1: C:
2: month
3: Navigate to C:\Test
4:F10
5: I'm still in C:\

Don't believe there is a portable method of changing the current working directory of another process/child.
