Here are all of the back burner issues that will need to be added to the gap products effort in upcoming lull periods. Please consider this a living document.

🔧 Optimizing gapindex/production workflow

• Have gapindex only update parts of the table so the whole table doesn't have to be dropped, just the things that changed.
• Establish audit tables, which can act as track changes to tables and schemata.
• Incorporate gap_products.taxonomic_classifications and gap_products.taxonomic_groups changes and minimum ID integration and move away from the old racebase.species table
• gapindex is not appropriately integrating the pre-start date composite species code from the SPECIES_YEAR table in biomass estimates #38
• Deal with species stanzas: Time cut-offs for including species in CPUE tables #16

🆕 Add new products

• Create station reference table #1
• Add special projects and special projects collections table to oracle database #41
• Add model-based indices results tables
• Area and other shapefile information inclusion in AREA tables. We need to find a way to save old area/shape information and add new to tables: spatial boundaries for each area_id in the gap_products.area table akgfmaps#112 and Vector geometries for AREA_IDs #27.
• Updating AI or GOA Survey Grid GIS with Trawable/Untrawlable information data-requests#79

🧹 Clean up

• Sunset Future Oracle googlesheet as the location of lookup tables #14
• Drop old/temporary/duplicate tables and schemata from oracle
