Calibration test for fast LCDs #26
Comments
makes no sense to use this on a mono. besides wuntill chitu allows per
layer exposure this is useless
Just search on thingiverse Validation Matrix and use it to calibrate your
resin. LCD resins on Mono screens are always between 1.2s and 4s, and
SLA/DLP resins between 12 and 18s

… Hi. As new mono LCDs are being common in LCD 3D printing, as Elegoo
Saturn, would it be possible to get test codes for much lower exposure
times between 1 and 4 seconds)?

Thanks for feedback. But I do not understand why it has no sense... It has the same sense to find the right exposure, only difference being the exposure steps. I just found a "Multiprinter - Resin Exposure Test V2" that solves the issue, providing this same tests for monochrome printers. |
Makes no sense because you need per layer exposure otherwise the results
are not correct and will give false positives that is why XP2 is still a
beta test since it is not reliable and repeatable.
Slicing the Validation Matrix and using it as a direct test is fast enough
on a mono to do it a couple of times at different exposure times and get
the calibration fast
