The stripped logs currently don't work with the octagonal log feature from Better Foliage. It would seem that Better Foliage tries to render them as octagonal, but fails in the process.

Unfortunately, I don't know how or what is needed to enable compatibility with the mod, or what is going wrong in the process. I do know that Features also adds stripped logs (vanilla only though, so it's not as cool as this mod), and that they render correctly with Better Foliage.

Can't do anything about it. Better Foliage will not work with procedurally generated models the way it is written, as it expects only Forge-loaded models derived from .JSON files or similar to exist. You'll have to raise this with the Better Foliage mod author.

Ah well. Thanks for looking in to it. I will indeed reach out to the Better Foliage author. Though they don't appear to have been active in a while.
