Describe the bug
The last release uses EOL Istio: https://istio.io/latest/docs/releases/supported-releases/
Please upgrade, or better yet, let the user install it directly from Istio repository.

Expected behavior

Environment

  • Kubernetes version
  • Using EKS (yes/no), if so version?
  • Kubeflow version
  • AWS build number
  • AWS service targeted (S3, RDS, etc.)
