<p>This map shows the layout of Bearathlon 2017 at the Berkeley marina. If you are familiar with Bearathlon, the layout is the exact same as in previous years.</p>
<p>The start/finish/expo area is located on the Windsurf Launch dock while transition is in shorebird park.</p>
<p>Please be mindful that all areas and paths between areas, with the exception of transition and the finish line, have not been roped off to the public. Please ask a volunteer to watch your stuff and do not leave things completely unattended.</p>

<strong>Draft Legal Sprint</strong>
</h2>

<p>The Collegiate Draft Legal Sprint triathlon combines a 750 meter swim, a 3-looped 20 kilometer bike, and a 2-looped 5 kilometer run. The entry fee will be $60.
<p> Events </p>
<ul>
<li>7:30 AM: The women's race begins and will be the official USAT West Regional Qualifier for Collegiate Nationals!</li>
<li>9:00 AM: The men's race begins.</li>
</ul>
<p>Draft Legal Participants: </p>
<ul>
<li>To sign up for this event, participants must be university students and members of a collegiate triathlon club.</li>
<li>Only 75 women in wave 1 (the women's division) and only 75 men in wave 2 (the men's division).</li>
<li>Only 5 men/5 women from each collegiate team will be permitted. This restriction will be lifted on August 1, 2016 if there are remaining spots. </li>
</ul>

<p>Keep in mind that there draft legal events tend to be dictated by different terms and it is highly advised you see the attached documents.</p>

<li>The Open Classic sprint is intended for community triathletes of all ages; collegiate racers are encouraged to register for the Collegiate Draft Legal or the Collegiate Classic Sprint.</li>
<li>Only 50 men in wave 1 (the men's division') and only 50 women in wave 2 (the women's division).</li>
<li>Registration is first come, first served.</li>
</ul>
