[BUG] Running alpha versions on Ubuntu have a weird glitch with the mouse. #362

Describe the bug
When in the game, the keyboard and mouse cannot be used simultaneously, and when clicking to do anything, your mouse appears for a split second and your movement stutters or stops completely.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Boot up an Alpha version
  2. Load/Create a world
  3. Try to move and click

Expected behavior
The ability to move and click.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
  • Launcher version: v1.09_17
  • Desktop environment: Wayland
  • Processor architecture: amd64/x86-64

Additional context
This does not happen on Windows.

one thing i should've noted is that i didnt actually test beta versions, but it was happening on 2 different alpha versions i tested.

i tried using java 8 and java 21, both yield the same result

Fix will come to Betacraft v2, for v1 we could provide workarounds only - if such exist.
