The plugin system allows to execute action upon specific blockchain events (blocks, transactions) as well as at regular interval.

I have many use cases in mind, but I'm interested in yours.

What real world app, notification, usage do you think of?

EDIT: I didn't realize this was for plugins, but perhaps some of it can be combines?

I really like the mechanic/robot usecases that were the first thing that fascinated me about Ethereum.

Have lights in a room switch on and off according to the block timestamp
Online camera that you can take control of and turn right, left, up, down with payment to a specific address with operation/data included
Utility apps that can be linked to existing but not easy-to-access APIs
Have a decentralized exchange based on other coin APIs - not sure about this one as centralized stuff can go offline

Do you need some additional node commands like "get data from block, get operation from block"?
