For some reason, when I add my Gmail to the app, my other email inbox and other folders become unusable- usually they won't load or only load after significant amounts of time. As in, click Inbox, and the loading circle never goes away- click off Inbox and back into, and it might come back? It's a little hard to parse what actions cause what actions. Removing the Gmail account fixes it, no problems at all.

My Gmail is like 10 years old at this point, I'm wondering if it's something to do with grabbing literally thousands of emails or something? I'm not particularly well-acquainted with using bespoke email clients, and honestly I only want my Gmail in there for old emails I may miss of importance. My primary email is much newer and emptier, only having less than 100 emails in it total, through IMAP.

Any tips would be helpful. Can provide whatever information needed as well. 👍🏽

Thanks for the report.

I think the problem with Gmail is that it does not respect the initial synchronization request from Wino and eventually downloads everything you have. So in 10 years you may have collect thousands of mails, and that might lead to issues.

I have never tested this scenario, but I have similar slowness when it comes to IMAP loading. Did not diagnose the real issue yet, but either conversation threading algorithm works slow or there is something wrong with loading mails in general.

Labeling the issue as confirmed to investigate this more later on.
