EOL packages should not be part of your supply chain.
Ecosystems with this info:

Rust

Currently not supported for NPM, Maven and Pypi so can't implement it yet.

Martin suggests breaking CI if an EOL package is found

One way to check for EOL would be to look for corresponding source code and it it is archived.
