Describe the Bug

I can not play my music in the songs tab at all. Works every where like albums and playlists, but unable to just shuffle the entirety of my library

Steps to Reproduce

I go to the songs tab on the left, click any song or the play button and nothing happens no matter what I change in settings, how many times I log in and out, or which version of Cider I use

Anything else?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. Here's my console log:

I'm guessing this might be related to the size of my library (probably 10000+ songs) because if I try to shuffle only like 1/3 of the library, or limit playlist size to around 2000 items, it works. It's kind of strange because this worked before with no issue. Also, this works with no issue in the official apple client.

this issue has been happening to me since around last summer, but it would fix itself in a few days. its been doing this for the last month or so now and hasn’t fixed itself like it usually does

Same for me, it's been happening randomly for about 3-4 months, but in a couple of days, it would fix itself. Not lately though.

beta.music.apple.com works, but it kind of cheats, because it just makes a very small playlist of about 50 songs instead of shuffling the whole library.

i can indeed confirm it is also working just fine for me on https://beta.music.apple.com . cider on the other hand still no luck.
