Market relevance

Meet at least one of the following conditions.

Codec with existing market relevance

1. Digital Media Service Providers (at least 3):

   • Facebook;
   • Google/YouTube;
   • Netflix.

2. Digital Media Playback Devices available in the market (at least 5):

   • Samsung began supporting AV1 hardware decoding in many of their 2020 TVs, including all 4K & 8K QLED TVs;
   • 2020 model year 4K & 8K OLED LG TVs;
   • Mediatek Dimensity 1000+;
   • Intel Tiger Lake;
   • 2020 Roku Ultra 4K.
