Remote control on SOFAR HYD + modbus proxy

Hi,
im using the solarman integration with a Sofar Hyd System with a BTS System.
I was wondering if remote control is supported for the Sofar inverters. Is it possible to enable/disable single rules in the Time of use setup on the Inverter?
I would like to be able to charge the battery on demand (low prices) or block the discharge of the battery when charging my car.
Curretnly im using the Solax modbus integration but that is not fully stable it seems.
I havent found any clear information on this in issues or discussions.

Another topic: i tried to use solarman and solax in parallel with the help of a modbus proxy. For Solax that is working well, but i cant setup the solarman integration to use the proxy. It seems to always use the IP of the LSE 3 Stick, no matter whats set in the config.
Any known issues with solarman and modbus proxy?

Hi @rmfujitsu, don't use serial number of the stick when you don't want to connect to the stick. 😉

the solax integration works fine with the modbus proxy.

in general: thanks a lot for taking to effort to help on this!
but maybe before we invest more time here: does solarman integration support the remote activation of time of use rules on sofar inverters? if not, i must find other solutions anyhow.

Neither of those warnings are relevant.

Integration does support writing writable registers, yes. But you gonna have to figure it out where and what to write. 😉

tried multiple times to set up solarman via the modbus proxy. no change. i can set the integration, it starts to initialize but it cant finish the setup. "Setup Error, will try again later"

started full debug log in solarman before, still autodiscovery visible there.

Any hints on what else i could try?

If you are manually running latest code from this repo just set serial number to 0. If not find in include/pysolarmanv5/pysolarman.py on line 42:

self._passthrough = False

and change it to

self._passthrough = True
