Multiple inverters

I'm using the integration at home with one inverter and it works excellently. However I'm contemplating adding my remote solar farm as well and there I'm contemplating an inverter swap where I would go with 2x SUN-12K-SG04LP3 inverters to get full 480A battery (dis)charge power (instead of the SUN-20K with 350A). However the question is how does this integration behave with multiple inverters? Does it work, are they auto-detected etc. As I'm planning this is an important element to know :)

Yes and yes. Just wire (and configure) them correctly (master <-> slave relation, etc but that's different type of a question). 😉

Ok, so as long as they are master-slave configured it'll work. That's good to know. I was contemplating what would happen in any case if I put both of them independently as I'm afraid they'd play "grid" for each other and hence could possibly not detect a grid connection failure :) But I guess if they are master-slave configured it's a moot point.

How will the different inverters show up in the sensor naming scheme? sensor.inverter_battery and sensor.inverter_battery_2? or sensor.inverter_2_battery etc?

You will add 2 devices so as default it will be sensor.inverter_battery and sensor.inverter_2_battery.
