Is it possible to update the R version used by the Docker image to 4.4.x? Previous R versions have vulnerabilities such as CVE-2024-27322 that make it risky to use when processing PHI.

I've tried updating it myself but I've encountered dependency version compatibility issues.

Hi, we don't have the resources to update this right now, but I would be glad to help you along through a pull request to create a new version if you want to start one.
