Can't receive media messages error is null and it says hasmedia but empty

In my images I'm showing my errors and what is happening. It has to do with my compose file I think:
docker-compose.yaml.txt

I just can't send video,audio,images to chatwoot or receive them through waha.

I hosted everything in coolify and would love for someone to help with this last little step.

I followed the instructions and got it all running but this is the final hurdle.

I definitely don't think I'm setting up the local storage correctly so it can access that folder.

But why does it come through localhost and not my domain (wapi.galahadcomputers.co.uk) if it did that would probably solve all my problems because when I change localhost:3000 to my domain and use my credentials I can get the image I send but I can't get it to work fully and send the files/photos 😭

Hi! Try setting WAHA_BASE_URL=https://wapi.galahadcomputers.co.uk (or http:// if you don't have https)
https://waha.devlike.pro/docs/how-to/config/

It'll adjust media url to the right one

This is why, it needs to be chat.id, like [email protected] or similar

I can't find where to change that.

That's the message from whatsapp through the event monitor and its comes from my whatsapp right?

in my flow it shows the id at the start

In your template with the pinned data from the site it doesn't have that first ID at the top

Yes, it looks like importing issue on n8n side (may be because of different versions, idk), also encountered it in #745

We're working on built-in ChatWoot integration (so no wierd n8n templates), hopefully will see the world in 2025 🤞 #441

Okay. I'm stupid.

I forgot to remove the test in my chatwoot webhook so it was mixing and matching data.

it works all fine now.

everything in my above screenshots is correct and unchanged and the only thing I changed was the webhook-test to webhook essentially the production and test webhook in n8n.

I worked it back to front and made sure my other settings like env was correct and compose/docker setup was right

everything is working and in order

Also to further note.

I may be in the minority but I prefer using n8n as the backend as it gives me more control/flexibility to integrate whatsapp/chatwoot into other things.

essentially I see n8n as a fabric that I can weave into anything so if you do make the integration that would be awesome but I hope you guys maintain the templates.

Just remember to remove all hard-coded creds if any :) May be even create WhatsApp Chatwoot Integration v2 🤔

I'm not able to right now but I'll take a look.

I saw his issue and it seemed more network related.

I don't understand what you mean by by post my fixes.

I would say my issue was just removing the test in my webhook URL.

I forgot to use the production URL.

I think I will share a compose file for coolify though. I suggest maybe have it on the main repo when I send it
