Yes you can use the Active-Inactive text indicator to achieve the same behaviour.

Yeah, that does seem to work mostly ^^
I guess the only (minor) issue is that the spacing's a bit too big even with the minimum settings

Another thing is that setting the highlight style to "None" doesn't apply immediately, only when restarting the shell

That's not the spacing it's the length. Try reducing that.

Yes unfortunately that is a open bug with Qt. I cannot force it to not load once loaded.
