The dataset seems to showcase heat needs of buildings. The plan could be:
1. make a model for heat demand based on m2 and country (technology
agnostic)
2. apply efficiency factor based on what tech is used in order to calculate
energy consumption need
For 1, you now have heat demand (you don't need to breakdown). How could
you scale this to living area?
How do we know the slope of the linear scaling (in kWh/additional m2), assuming that heating needs scale linear on surface area (which should be checked, I'm not sure about this)?

https://www.odyssee-mure.eu/publications/efficiency-by-sector/households/heating-consumption-per-m2.html lacks the breakdown by heating type (only shows average energy consumption across types, and therefore doesn't allow us to estimate the average per type).
We're lacking data to advance here.
