Green Button for Utility Integration #80
Comments
Thank you very much @stin7 ! Any chance you can take a stab at it? |
Exactly my thought! As soon as I heard about this project, I thought about the Green Button! It's both a standard that's already widely used in the US and one that can be suggested to energy providers when we are lobbying them to provide an access to their data. I am not using a provider that has implemented the green button but I would be interested in helping to do this integration. If you are using a provider which has the green button (here is a list of the US providers), feel free to join the effort! Other relevant links would be:

@PierreMesure have you started any work for a green Button integration? Do you know of any JS sample that would show how to get data? |
Hey! No, I haven't started and won’t have time in the coming months. Feel free to try! I can’t find any code example in JavaScript but there are in Java. It’s just a REST API so it should be pretty easy. |
@martincollignon if I remember well we need to pay to get access to the API? |
I would like to research and implement this if no one is actively working on it. @steren Let me know if you are already on it. Cheers! |
Go ahead. I have no made any progress. |
Moving forward on this with SCE and SDG&E. PG&E throws a wrench in the integration for us because they require mutual TLS, so I'm delaying on that for now. |
