Actually do integration tests with the UI to ensure all features actually work

Found some interesting bugs which weren't previously caught to due poor self-testing processes and insufficient test cases.

Unit tests can't always catch the more subtle higher level functionality. Design a test sketch for arduino which allows for a 'remote' unit test process, on actual hardware.
