[Long term issue] Requests to join Sepolia permissioned validator set #12
Comments
Hello, Staked would like to express our strong interest in participating as a validator. We would like to test our infrastructure in preparation for Goerli and Mainnet merge events. Contact Info: EOA: |
Hi we run sepolia.dev, including the faucet, and wenmerge.com and would like to join the validator set to help secure the testnet and provide additional funds for our validator Due to the amount of eth we have staked we are happy to provide proof of our staking privately contact us at: sepolia at wenmerge.com |
Hi There, Feel free to reach out on discord: |
Hey, |
If you want to run validators, please consider to run them on Goerli/Prater |
Hi there, I work for SDX (part of the Swiss Stock Exchange) and I'd like to ask to be admitted to the permissioned set please as a long-term validator. We are looking to onboard clients and some would prefer to use Sepolia over Goerli as part of their integration tests. Discord: |
Hello, I am responsible for the development of ethereum for ChainUpCloud. Our philosophy is "All in one Web3 platform". We currently have an implementation layer, a consensus layer api for eth (and support for sepolia), and an unmanaged stake ETH with ssv integration. We have a share of mainnet at ETH. We are very interested in sepolia, and hope to conduct validator tests and get approval. discard: |
Hi @parithosh, we run Blockchain Web Services (bws.ninja) and would like to become a sepolia validator (blockchainwebservices.eth) How can we get there? |
Unless you work on core protocol or infrastructure, you should run a validator on Goerli instead (or check out the upcoming Holesky testnet: eth-clients/holesky#2). |
We offer an abstraction layer for solutions running sepolia (when testing), so we need to get funds recurrently. Does it mean Sepolia is not adequate for such scenario as getting funds consistently may be hard? Goerli is also quite limited for getting test ETH ... |
It would be easier if you can let us know an address and what the funds would be used for, we can help you keep the address stocked. Additionally sepolia has far more faucets and well functioning ones, so it should be easier to get sepolia eth. If it feels like you are spending far more sepolia eth than what you can get and you do not rely on the external smart contract ecosystem, it might be worth thinking about running your own lightweight chain for the purpose of your testing. |
Our venture builder team Caliber (https://caliber.build/) is excited to express our interest in becoming a validator on Sepolia, fully aware of the commitment and responsibilities it entails. We are prepared to engage in the long-term operation of validators, maintain high uptime, and swiftly respond to updates, contributing to the health of this vital testnet. Initiating with our robust faucet, we aim to enhance access to testnet ETH on Sepolia, enriching the user and developer experience. As a potential large-scale staker, we aspire to play an active role in sustaining Sepolia ETH, supporting network integrity, and advancing the Ethereum ecosystem. Later, we expect a sustainable source of SepoliaETH to support the building and testing of potential DApps and protocols. Contact Info: |
@vivinvinh212 currently the sepolia validator set isn't looking to expand, its meant to be a small set that is stable to enable dapp developers. However, we are starting the planning for the Holesky testnet where everyone can permissionlessly join and it'd be great if you can post here: eth-clients/holesky#13 |
@parithosh I see, thank you for your reply. In that case, is it possible that our team Caliber request a sizeable amount of SepoliaETH from the team in order to function the faucet smoothly? You could find and try out the faucet here. Thank you for your assistance! |
@vivinvinh212 I see that you still have ~10k sepETH in the faucet and please do let me know what the monthly burn rate is. Additionally you might want to have the faucet behind an accessible URL instead of a aws connect link. And I can't seem to find it when I search on the open web, you might want to work on some SEO. |
I'm Genie Kim from NEOPIN. We are providing ETH Staking Service currently and also support wallet of EVM Layer2. Contact Info - Discord : |
@letspesl would it be possible to use Holesky instead of Sepolia or is there some particular reason you would prefer to validate on Sepolia? |
In our service, we experiment with a separate contract and operate a connection between the liquid staking function and the polygon amoy testnet arbitrum sepolia testnet. These chains do not support holesky, so we want to build a development environment through sepolia. |
@parithosh I received a friend request from |
Hi @parithosh ! |
I too would like to become a Sepolia validator. If that's cool. I work with DAOs via kali.gg and build smart accounts with nani.ooo. |
Is it possible to become a validator? Contact me on telegram: x33maks |

Hi @parithosh |
Hey! We are currently not accepting any more validators in the sepolia validator set. Please join as a validator on Holesky if you wish you test your staking infrastructure. |
We have been tracking the genesis validator selection and initial validator addition requests in the issue here: ethereum/pm#526 . But for long term ease of use, we'd like to move away the issue from the
ethereum/pm
repo onto this repo.Future requests for oboarding validators can be tracked in the issue below.
Information on the validator requirements as well as process can be found here: https://notes.ethereum.org/@parithosh/HkVjQfkc5
