Write a flow to update the project's dependencies periodically

This project is being maintained a bit on the side, mainly a month or two before Christmas (essentially - in cycles of years), (sadly) leaving the project with out-of-date dependencies more often than it should.

To mitigate this, a new flow could be added to update the dependencies of the project periodically, open a PR for the changes and updates, and request a review to be added into the main branch. (this way the main branch would be kept mostly up-to-date.)

• Major version bumps would still be done manually.
• The period in periodically would be decided on later.
