safe to install on Windows 11 22H2?

hello!
is DarkThumbs 1.6 compatible with the newest Windows 11 22H2? In the past (this summer until beginning of September) I had stability issues with Windows Explorer and I read that the uninstall (should I need it) does not remove the registry entries. So I am hesitant to try it out... Does anyone have experience with it?

I've tested on Windows 11 23H2 and didn't have any problems. The installer correctly created the DarkThumbs Manager icon on my desktop.

The executable you're looking for is "CBXManager.exe", which can be found in the installation folder. The default installation folder is "C:\Program Files\DarkThumbs". Here is a screen shot:

The screen cap you sent looks like Details view. For reasons I don't quite understand, DarkThumbs only shows preview for Medium Icon view or larger [i.e. not Small Icon view]. This seems to be a Windows limitation.

Yes, you're right, I realized it when I saw that the preview did appear in a couple of books I had on my desktop
